Yes, it is ultimately
shocking how we are actually real people who exist in the real world, and
therefore have lives away from MiniTokyo. You knew full well what would happen
while we are experiencig donload problems, so don't download anymore until an
announcement has been made ~ and don't have hissy fits like a porn starved
teenager.
The site administrator is dealing with the problem. Just be patient and it will
hopefully be resolved soon.
Hey johnwe, wazup? I hope everything is alright! I just came to say a little hi
and to thank you for adding my scan to your favorites! I really appreciate it a
lot!
I wish you a good week! take care!
Ciao!
Quote by johnweThis isn't about any
warnings or bans or anything. I just have a question concerning the
"Quarantine". Why don't they just delete the pictures if they are
questionable? Why do they leave the thumbnails up to tease us? I get frustrated
with clicking on a cool looking thumbnail only to have the message come up that
says the picture has been quarantined and will be removed on or around
such-and-such date. Why even show a thumbnail of pics that we can't
download?
The quarantine reduces the chance of mistakes and allows for an appeals process.
Moderators can miss certain submissions and delete things where they shouldn't
be deleted. Therefore, we keep the submission quarantined for a certain number
of days so that an appeal can be made or a moderator can go back and restore the
submission if a mistake is found.
I understand all that. I just wish there was a way to NOT show the thumbnails
during the quarantine process so people aren't tempted to click on them.

Quote by johnweRequest for a Captain
Harlock gallery. I know there is already a Reiji Matsumoto gallery here: http://browse.minitokyo.net/s/1100/reiji-matsumoto/
But I don't know if there are any other pictures shown in the misc Unknown
gallery yet. I'm checking on that now.
When you have 3-4 images that need to be moved to it, re-post in the service
thread and I'll make the catagory. It makes it easier so I know what the real
demand is for it.
johnwe, on Minitokyo, we strive to maintain a gallery of wallpapers that
maintain a consistent standard of quality and effort which feature tasteful
subjects relating to anime, manga, and games. Whether or not a wallpaper meets
those criteria is, as noted in the Policy, "unconditionally decided by the
Gallery Directors."
Moderators have indicated to you in the past why certain items have been
deleted. Please note that the Moderator staff processes hundreds of submissions
a day, and that already takes up hours of our time each day. In an ideal world,
we would be able to write a detailed explanation for every item deleted, but
given the unfortunate circumstances that constitute reality, the best we can do
is indicate to you the general reason why a wallpaper was deleted, e.g. not
meeting the criteria for quality or effort, being too explicit or risque for the
galleries, et cetera.
I hope you understand the difficult situation we are in. I understand your
frustration, but at the same time the Moderator staff has been tasked with a
responsibility that is already stressful and time consuming as is. We take your
concerns into consideration and will see what we can do to be of assistance, but
I ask that you please refrain from resubmitting works that have been removed in
the past, as doing so only makes our job that much more difficult.

Do not resubmit items after they have been deleted.
When you quit deleting them for your stupid reasons, I will quit resubmitting
them. Or else tell me EXACTLY why they have been deleted - don't give me some
"canned" response where I get to choose from a list!
Your description in your resubmitted walls clearly indicates that you know what
you're doing and that it was only a matter of time before your items would be
deleted.
First Warning
Do not resubmit items after they have been deleted.
Quote by johnweVery intense but also very
difficult to pick out the image of Sharlotte from the bg. There needs to be more
contrast between the two so you know what you are supposed to be looking at.
Hi^^
I know there needs more contrast and I plan to improve it^^
Thx a lot^^ Any critics and comments are welcome^^
Quote by johnwe60 to 70 dollars each? WOW!
That is a lot. I can understand why your collection is small. I think the most I
have paid is around $40, but mostly a lot less than that. As such my original
anime music collection on CD numbers about 150. I prefer to buy rather than
download too.
yeah after conversion costs from yen to US
dollar to AU dollar is works out to be pretty steep if
they cost less there would be so many that I would buy but for now I just have
to slowly keep the collection going up.
At least your doing your part wow 150 O_o nice job
Quote by johnweI am NOT normally a
baseball fan. Hailing from Chicago, there has really never been any reason to be
until now. My real only surprise about the WS 2005 was that the White Sox swept
the series. I am happy they did, but I would have thought that Houston would
have one at least one game. But hey, Congratulations White Sox.
"Houston, you had a problem!"
Something about teams of destiny. The Red Sox swept the Cards to end an 86 year
drought and the White Sox swept the Astros to end an 88 year drought. Go figure.
Thanks for the entry.

Seriously, if you knew that your credits would disappear because you had already read about it, then why be surprised.
